Design Project Flow

So you’re thinking of working with a designer but are not sure what that process would entail? Here is the typical design project flow and the stages you can expect.

After telling me about your project via online Project Request, we’ll have a new client Discovery Call. Understanding your needs and scope, I will create a design project proposal and once approved, schedule an on-site visit for a full space assessment.

From there, with your preferences and space in mind, I create a design concept that will communicate our direction with color and style story, so you see the vision for the project.

Next we move to the space layout planning for which you can get a real feel for how it would flow through my 3D interactive renderings.

We then finalize the colors and fixtures selections, and start sourcing furniture and decor. You can chose to make purchases on your own following my detailed shopping list, or leave the procurement to me.

Same stands for the installation – you can choose to implement the design yourself with the help of my How-to-Guide, or be completely hands-off and let me finalize the design and style your space.

Lastly, we will schedule a time to check all the final touches and take professional project photos. I will also invite you to share your experience and results online and with your friends and family.

Your transformed home will not only look great and be functional, it will also improve the way you live.

Curious? Check out the project request form, and some of my pre-set Design Packages. You can also set up a call for any questions!
